Overlands are large open regions with various Enemies, unique Events, and special World Bosses. Traveling throughout Overlands is made easy by use of Signal Fires once they are discovered, as well as riding mounts. Lost Zones can also be accessed at their respective Gloom Breaches which become accessible as the main story is progressed.

Locales

Highlands

The Kragan Highlands is a large mountainous region within Westreach. The town of Skylight rests on the northern end of the Highlands, while the ruins of the Aurelian monastery remain scattered throughout. Below the earth, members of the Shrike Syndicate occupy the Godsblood mines of The Deep. Various wildlife roam the fields and caves throughout the Highlands, while Geartooth Goblins set up encampments in the outer reaches.

Frostmarch

The Frostmarch is a large snowy region, accessible through the Beacon of Skylight after completing the Lighting the Flame Quest. In the northeast, Deepwood Holt remains as the only peaceful settlement in the area. Outside its walls, hostile wildlife surround the ruins of abandoned Imperial structures. However, greater danger lies in the Reavers that have claimed the Frostmarch as their home.
