Altar of the Phoenix

The Altar of the Phoenix is an Event found in all Lost Zones. Interacting with the altar will summon a phoenix, who must be defeated to earn rewards. The type of phoenix and mechanics of the event differ depending on the zone.

Variants

Aurelian

The Loot Phoenix must be defeated multiple times within two minutes. Each defeat will ignite one of the summoning altar's rings while the phoenix will respawns. Up to eight of the rings can be ignited for maximum rewards. The event ends when the timer expires.

The Deep

The Crystal Phoenix does not respawn like the other Phoenixes. After activating the altar, players must defeat the Crystal Phoenix as quickly as possible within two and a half minutes. The Crystal Phoenix is considerably more durable than the Loot Phoenix. Four of the altar's rings will be lit with a pillar of white fire, indicating the remaining reward. Every 30 seconds, one of the fire pillars will extinguish, reducing the reward. The event ends when the phoenix is defeated or the timer expires.

Reaver Woods

The Woods Phoenix. After activating the altar, players must defeat The Woods Phoenix multiple times within two minutes, similar to the Loot Phoenix. However, The Woods Phoenix will respawn as two phoenixes on the first defeat. Defeating the two will respawn three phoenixes, and then three again. In total, The Woods Phoenix must be defeated nine times across four waves. Like the Loot Phoenix, each phoenix defeat will ignite one of the altar's rings. The event ends when the phoenix is defeated nine times or the timer expires.

The number of rewards is dependent on the number of lit rings on the altar when the event is completed:
