Facsimile
Facsimile, also known as the Colosseum, is an Aurelian Event found exclusively in Repository of Knowledge Expeditions. Data Fragments from the Decoder event can be utilized by facsimile machines to create and combat living copies from data.
Overview[edit]
The event is located in The Broken Light, a hall with staircases leading down to an open arena with a large, ornate machine overhead. Balconies overlook the arena along with four stones statues on the edges. Data fragments can be brought to this light to initiate the facsimile machine. On the sidelines are three alcoves sealed by radiant energy: two housing Memory Fragments, and one with a large Treasure Chest and a facsimile terminal.
Starting the Simulation[edit]
Interacting with the light will prompt a selection of a data fragment, which will determine the facsimile boss. Once the event begins, the staircases leading out of the court will rise, barring any escape. Two waves of enemies must be defeated, followed by a facsimile boss. The first wave consists of Goblin Scavengers, Broodspawns, and Ichorlings. The second wave will add Goblin Hunters, Goblin Hackers, Broodhunters, and Ichors.
On the edges of the court are four statues, which can be rotated to point towards the center of the room. Having all four statues aligned to the light before starting the simulation will enable the Heroic variant. In the Heroic variant, large squares of red light will appear randomly across the court, dealing damage after a short time to those inside.
Facsimile Boss[edit]
After both waves have been cleared, a Facsimile Boss will be simulated, which is determined by the data fragment used:

Rewards[edit]
Each boss defeated will reward a 
Burned-Out Tracer or an 
Orb of Solar, which are both exclusive to this event. The smaller sealed alcoves will also open. If the Heroic variant is completed, the large alcove will become accessible, allowing access to the terminal within.

3Data Fragments can be offered for a small amount of 
Gold, Spectra, and 
Gloomstone Shards.
