Black Gloomstones are a type of Gloomstone used to upgrade the final ranks of a Wayfinder's Affinity. Unlike other Gloomstones, Black Gloomstones cannot crafted at an Echo Matrix, but they can still be reduced to shards for 80Gloomstone Shards.

Acquisition

Black Gloomstones are earned by completing Mythic Hunts or potentially by defeating certain Overland bosses:

• Astral Zephyr
• Fallen Greedlord
• Kindled Heartwood
