Overview

The Ryv’n Hunt consists of 2 main phases: He teleports away when he has received enough damage and he summons The Horde of Ryv’n.

How to Unlock

Accessed during The Lair of the Whisperer. His first encounter to initiate The Lair of the Whisperer Quest is a random event encounter found in the Repository of Knowledge Expedition by using Gloomtouched, Gloomshroud, or Shadowspawn imbuements.

Guide

As you enter the Hunt, Ryv’n will be waiting in the center of the arena. Ryv’n will use Slash and Blink throughout the fight making sure to position yourself to his side. Once you inflict enough damage, he will teleport away and summon The Horde of Ryv’n.

• Slash – Ryv’n slashes forward in a frontal attack.
• Blink – Ryv’n blinks to a new location in the arena.
• The Hord of Ryv’n – Ryvn teleports out of the arena and summons Wretches and Heralds who must be cleared to continue the fight.
• Pin - Ryv'n will slash towards a player and knock you down and pin the player, using a breathe attack on the player and dealing massive damage.

Be careful, as the Wretches and Herald explode on death.

Clear all the Wretches and Heralds that spawn, and then Ryv’n will return.
