Talon of Pyre is a World Boss that spawns on the Highlands Map, in the Charred Rise region of the map.

Overview

Talon of Pyre must be summoned with 4 Primal Fragments which can be obtained from an event called Everburning Village in the Cindered Village in Frostmarch.

"Pyre's" attacks consist of a series of melee swings and shield bashes, an Area of Effect fire wave and also a meteor channeling ability which will summon a meteor on all players in the arena, it initially will track the player until the ability is about 66% charged then it will lock in place, giving you time to dodge, and land shortly afterwards dealing heavy AoE.

Towards the end of the fight, at around 10% health remaining, Pyre will trigger a Self-Destruct that cannot be canceled with a stun and sends out continuous waves of damage. If you do not kill him within the time to take him to finish casting the ability, all players will be wiped (unless within Wingrave's Divine Aegis), you will fail the fight/event, receive no loot and it does not return the 4 Primal Fragments it took to summon him.
