The Renegade is a giant mutated rat hiding away in the Crucible. While exploring and attempting to understand the region, a maladjusted Seeker scientist performed torturous experiments on a lab rat using the energies present in the Crucible. Driven to its limits, the rat escaped and disappeared into the jungle. At the strong encouragement of the Huntmaster, the Wayfinder must track down and eliminate the renegade experiment before it and its army of rats do irreparable damage to the environment.
