Faction Fight is a side story quest in Wayfinder.
Description[edit]
Start
The Azure Shrikes have begun planting bombs throughout the city in a last ditch effort to win their turf war with the Rustreds. Warden Hass needs me to disarm bombs near the Rustred Hideout. If these bombs go off, it could take half of Skylight with it.
Active
The Azure Shrikes are planting bombs near the Rustred base in an attempt to finish their rivals off for good. If the bombs aren't disarmed, the whole city might go up in flames. Stop the Azure Shrikes and then take out the Rustred's leader before this turf war escalates any further.
Clear
You were able to disarm the Azure's bombs and then beat Grim Morningstar into submission. This seems to have created an uneasy peace in Lower Skylight, but Warden Hass doubts this will be the last we see of the Shrikes.

Dialogue[edit]
I assume Kestrel took those supplies all too eagerly? I would prefer if we didn't need to work with a former Shrike, but she knows the business better than anyone. And her rates reflect it…
The Azure are planting bombs in the Rustred base.
…come again?
They're going to blow up the Rustred hideout.
What!? The Rustred “hideout” is half of Lower Skylight! Those fools are going to destroy our bloody city.
I should have seen this coming. There's a fearsome new Shrike that's been carving his way up the ranks. They call him Grim Morningstar.
Unlike the others, the Shrikes following him seem to care more about blood than profit. But it was only with Kestrel's information that I realized he's the new leader of the Rustred.
The Azure must be terrified of him if they'd risk something this extreme.
Sod all of this Azure vs. Rustred nonsense! Wayfinder, get to the Rustred hideout and disarm the bombs before those fools kill us all.
That takes care of the Azure threat, but we can't let the Rustred keep pushing them to such extremes. Find their leader, Grim Morningstar, and beat him into submission.
This changes nothing… Beneath the rays of the Morningstar or not, the Shrike Syndicate will never submit!
You should know, I am not one to freely give praise. So, take this to heart. I'm glad you were here, Wayfinder.
Humiliating Morningstar won't make our bandit problems go away anytime soon, but hopefully the escalation between the two factions will cease for the time being.
Though, knowing that bloodthirsty brute... it will only be a matter of time before he terrorizes the Rustred back into his hands.
But enough of that. You saved us from the explosion of the century! In the Imperial army, this would have called for a drink.
Promise me you'll take some time to be merry. I imagine it won't be long now before I call on you again. Until then, Arcs be with you.
