Hello again, Wayfinder! Do the Seekers, perhaps, require my aid? For all Skylight has done for us, I am ever at your service.

Maelon Sol

Ah, wisps of the arcane! Sightings of the occult! Strange happenings frequent the Holt, indeed. Though, magic around here usually originates with that witch. Have you sought her out?

Player

I have. That's a dead end, I'm sure.

Maelon Sol

Hmm. If you say so. She is a cruel and dangerous one, though we put up with her, if only because she loathes the Reavers as much as we do.

Recently? No. But some of our people thought to abandon the safety of the Holt and struck out on their own. Never found them. I take it... they did not make it far.

The worst of it is, there's a chance they're still alive. The Reavers are like animals. Some of them like to play with their food.

If you can find your way through the Gloom and fight off a thousand Reavers? Perhaps. Though, that is a long shot, correct?

Yes. I am not sure what the Reavers do with the people they take. But rarely are there bodies to bury or burn.
