Find the Liar is a side story quest in Wayfinder.

Description[edit]

Start

Human bones in this cave bear the marks of ritual sacrifice. Graymourn is nearby; if anyone knows what might be going on here, it's her.

Active

A pile of human bones in a hidden cave had a tortured spirit trying to "find the liar." Talk to the residents of Deepwood Holt and figure out who this is before he makes another skeleton.

Clear

The strange cave did not belong to Graymourn, and Rust fears it could be used by someone who stayed behind to rebuild Deepwood Holt. Maybe questioning the three prominent citizens who stayed will help lead to an answer.

A spirit tormented by pain and anguish. Something murderous clearly happened in this cave. Graymourn knows spirits and death. I should question her.

Ha! Happened upon a little blood and bone, did you? Death sealed—hidden in cragged outskirts of your precious Holt.

So quick to jump to conclusions! It proves you a fool. The very lands you tread know me as Grandmother. I've no need to hide my doings. Especially from your kind.

Fovur is a weaponsmith by trade and a damn good one at that. He can be a bit of a gossip, but he loves the Holt more than most. So I always thought, anyway.

Vaf is Deepwood's foreman. He knows his stuff. Even as a lad, he was quite the builder. I heard he was pretty harsh during the Fall, but… dire times can call for harsh decisions.
