Commander Wolf asked you to speak to the Stablemaster in Crossroads Foundry. He has something for you.

At Commander Wolf's suggestion, you went to the Stablemaster and secured a mount to make traveling easier.

I see Commander Wolf got my message. Excellent. Let's get you a ride.

I ensure my mounts are reliable and fast. They will cut your traveling time down a great deal, and most can live off the land for any necessary feed.

Since your duties are so essential, I'll give you the first one for free. But I still have to make a living. Any more and you'll need to buy them yourself.

Treat them well and they will behave. Mistreat them, and they'll respond in kind. I tell all the soldiers, lay on a whip, and you'll get the kick.

But you start off with an apple or a carrot, and don't go farther than a firm hand on the reins, and I'm sure you'll be fast friends.
