Dialogue[edit]
Ah... my mind is clear, for now. I can feel the Gloom gathering strength, but I know what must be done. I must burn it from within, cleanse my spirit with fire. I need the fury of the Phoenix.
You must carve the heart from the embers of a Phoenix, and shape the cauldron with all the Solar magic it can withstand. The brew will burn hotter that any mortal flame, but I must consume it.
Can you even survive that?
There's no alternative. But as long as the Sage's Wisdom lasts, I will speak to the stones, that they might remember the last lore of the Woodwen.
While you work, so shall I. When I am done, the stones will hold the stories I remember of my people. The language, the wisdom, the rituals. Then I will chance the potion.
If there were ever a cleansing fire that could cure me, it would be that of the phoenix. Here, I must drink it quickly.
It's practically boiling...
Pain is temporary. I must digest it before the phoenix is reborn. If it were to do so while inside me... well, you can imagine the mess.
The flames... burning... NO! The heat is fading. The Gloom is swallowing the light. It's too strong. We have failed.
I must think. The Sage's Wisdom has left me, now... now all that matters is determination.
